Green Chili Burger
There a million ways to fix up a good old burger, but this is my families favorite way to eat a hamburger. If you like green chilies I am sure that you will love this burger as well. We always get extra lean organic beef for our burgers and it does make a world of difference in the taste, and health so if you can splurge on getting organic meat I would highly recommend it.

Ingredients:
4 rolls or buns
3/4 lb extra lean organic ground beef
1 lb green chilies
4 leafs of lettuce
1 small tomato
2 t. mayo
4 slices of cheddar cheese
Directions:
Roast Green Chilies and chop into pieces and put aside. Get all of the toppings for your hamburgers watched and chopped. Add a little salt and pepper to hamburger meat and shape into 4 patties. Put a pan on medium high heat and cook patties until you liking of doneness. We cook ours about 8-10 minutes on each side. While the meat is cooking Toast the buns (optional). During the last minute of cooking add the cheese so it can melt on patties. Once done take patties out and set aside add chopped green chilies and garlic powder to pan ( you can add a little bit of oil if needed to scrap up the bits) It really just depends on your meat if needed. Lastly assemble your burgers and enjoy!]]>
