Detox from Halloween and Stress Eating
If you have spent the weekend eating all your kids junk from Halloween, along with stress eating with the upcoming election. This protein shake is a great way to start your day off right tomorrow. Or my other favorite protein shake. No matter how you are feeling right now, if you have already voted make a plan to take care of yourself tomorrow. In the case that the candidate you voted for doesn’t win make plans to do something that will lift your spirit and help you to feel good about life. If the candidate you voted for wins don’t be a poor winner and make sure you celebrate, but still be kind and show love to those who may not be having a good day today! And no matter how the election goes remember that its not the end of the world and they happen every four years! I want to leave you with a scripture I love especially right now “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 There is always peace in Christ no matter what life may throw our way. May you still see that love and hope every day through Christ in your life.

Blackberry Lemonade Protein Shake
Ingredients
Lemonade
- 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 3 lemons juiced
- 5 cups filtered water
- 1 tsp liquid monk fruit sweetener more or less depending on how sweet you want it
Blackberry Lemonade Protein Shake
- 1 serving vanilla protein powder 20-30 grams
- 1/4 avocado fresh or frozen
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- 1/4 cup blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1 handful baby spinach
- 2 cups lemonade recipe above
Instructions
Lemonade
- Mix all ingredients together and taste, depending on lemon size and amount of juice from each one, you may need to add more lemon and or sweetener to reach your desired taste.
Protein Shake
- Place all ingredients in blender, and blend to desired consistency. It is optional to add additional lemon juice if desired.
