Sweet and Spicy Bacon

We have a restaurant by us that has this bacon they call Million Dollar Bacon that is spicy and sweet. We love it but since we don’t eat out much in the first place I wanted to create my own version that would taste just as good. My version is Paleo friendly as well, and so good you will not want to just eat one. So if you are making it for your family you may want to double or triple the recipe (depending on your family size and how much you love bacon).  This recipe serves 8 if each person only eats two slices so plan accordingly.

You will want to start off by heating your oven to 400 degrees. While the oven is heating I get my baking sheet out put rack inside of pan and line my bacon up on it. You want to lay your bacon so that they are touching each other. Completely covering the rack. I get my bacon from Butcher box and included a link below for 30.00 off your first box if you are interested in trying it. We get a box a month and love it. Next get a small bowl and mix together sugar and spices. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over all the slices. Now your oven should be preheated so you can go ahead and back them for about 20 minutes, rotating your pan halfway through. Let cool for a few minutes before you enjoy!

If you do happen to have any leftover they make a delightful BLT for lunch or light dinner.

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
