Sweet and Spicy Bacon
This bacon is crispy sweet and spicy. You will not want to eat only one!
- 16 oz bacon slices
- 6 Tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Lay the bacon in a single layer on the rack so that they don't have any space between the slices.
In a small bowl, combine sugar, chili powder, cinnamon, salt, and red pepper flakes. Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over all the slices.
Bake, rotating sheet halfway through baking, until bacon is brown and shiny, about 20 minutes. Let cool on rack for a few minutes. Serve Warm
